Santa Rosa de Copán is Honduras westernmost coffee-growing region. The altitude in the region runs from 1,300 to 1,700 meters above sea level. Traditional varieties on the plantations across the region are Bourbon, Catuai and Caturra. The contributing farmers are mainly small family farms of 5 acres or less.

Cupping notes: acidity is muted, it is showing some age, with baggy notes, but still some toasted nuts and good body. This lot is discounted due to a lower cup score. If used it should be as a dark roast.
