This is a high grown COOP coffee from the North is the best coffee growing region of Peru. Located in the hilly Cajamarca region close to the border with Ecuador. The cooperative was established by the merger of local farmers, who campaign adequate compensation. The coffee is grown on small plantations and carefully hand picked. The ripe cherries are processed at surrounding washing stations.

These high elevation Perus can handle a variety of roasts well making it a versatile bean to have in your inventory.

Cupping: a well balanced clean cup with medium acidity, honey, grapefruit tangy finish.
